Starting from MicroStrategy Web 10.1, it is possible to find dependents of a certain object in Web.
Follow below steps to experience this feature in MicroStrategy Tutorial:
- In MicroStrategy Web 10.1, navigate to MicroStrategy Tutorial–Shared Reports–MicroStrategy Platform Capabilities–MicroStrategy Report Services–Datasets
- Choose any of the Report that used as dataset for a Report Service document, e.g. Category Performance Dataset report under folder Category Management Dashboard.
- Right mouse click on the report name, in the context menu, choose “Find Dependents”, as shown below:
- In the pop-out Find dependents window, it shows the dependents of this report, as shown below:
