SYMPTOM:
When setting a Unix/Linux OS-based Intelligence Server to collect statistics in MicroStrategy 9.x, the statistics are not being logged. When enabling statistics trace logging, the error below shows up in the trace:

CAUSE:
A possible cause is the that ODBC.ini file does not have the proper connection (missing the section) to the statistics database.
ACTION:
Make sure that ODBC.ini file is setup correctly with the section available for the statistics database used.
